Korean Police Investigation Academy will lead in educating world-class crime investigators
The Korean Police Investigation Academy (KPIA), as the center for advanced education on scientific investigation, is training specialized investigators according to 21st-century requirements for public security. Since 1984, KPIA has been the central institute for criminal investigation training in Korea. It provides the latest knowledge in its field to various government organizations such as the Ministry of National Defence, the Korea Customs Service, the Korean Coast Guard, the Presidential Security Service, and the Korean National Police. KPIA will exert every effort to become a world-class education institution on scientific investigation, to keep pace with the ever-changing security environment, through the best education system.
